HIGH CHILD is...Spud, Jewels, Jaffar, Alex and Chris.
Spud and Alex grew up together surrounded by the rolling hills of Derbyshire.
With little else to do other than climb trees and count sheep...

Instruments were learnt.
Songs were written.
HIGH*CHILD was formed.

Influenced by the flare of the 60's and the grit of the 90's.
Now based in London.

What They Want You To Know...

They are a truly Independent Band.
They write, record, produce and promote all of their own music.
They do their own artwork and website design.

They sell all of their music through busking, gigs, website and downloads..
Since 2005 the band have sold over 7000 copies of their demo CDs.

They have now released their first professional album,
'Yesterday Today'.
